# Logging In
This page describes how to login to your Lobby Bot for Fortnite
### What is the authorization code?
When opening the lobby bot for the first time (`ProSwapper_LobbyBot.exe`) it will ask you to enter an authorization code. This authorization code is used to login to the Fortnite account of the bot. You can get your authorization code [here](https://www.epicgames.com/id/logout?redirectUrl=https%3A//www.epicgames.com/id/login%3FredirectUrl%3Dhttps%253A%252F%252Fwww.epicgames.com%252Fid%252Fapi%252Fredirect%253FclientId%253D3446cd72694c4a4485d81b77adbb2141%2526responseType%253Dcode) by logging in to the desired Epic Games account which the bot will use.
The authorization code is the 32 letter long text.
### What Epic Games account do I login with the bot?
This can be any Fortnite account, preferably an alternative account to your main. The account can be a brand new Epic Games account. You can make a new Epic Games account [here](https://www.epicgames.com/id/register).
# Using the dashboard on a mobile device
Want to control the lobby bot on your phone?
Open the `Mobile Dashboard QR Code.bat` folder and it will open a website with a QR code.
Use your phone to scan the QR code and it will open a link to use the lobby bot's dashboard on your phone.
To access the lobby bot's dashboard from your phone, it **must** be on the same network as your PC that is running that bot. If you want to use a device outside of your network to control your lobby bot you will need to [port forward](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Port_forwarding).
# What is Skin Swapping?
Fortnite skin swapping is editing Fortnite's game files to get a different skin/backbling/emote/pickaxe/etc.
In Pro Swapper, there's 2 types of swapping. There is swapping items ingame and swapping items in lobby.
Ingame swapping shows your skin ingame but **only** to yourself and not others.
Lobby swapping shows to others but **only** in the lobby.
You *can* swap in lobby and ingame at the same time and other will be able to see your skin in lobby but only **you** will see it ingame.
# Frequently Asked Questions for Pro Swapper
Here are some answers to your burning questions!
* **Does Pro Swapper Ban?**
Pro Swapper will **NOT** ban you from Fortnite as Epic Games does not seem to ban for file modification to modify cosmetics.
* **Does Pro Swapper work on GeForce Now?**
GeForce Now is Nvidia's "[Cloud Gaming](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloud_gaming)" service, this plays **Fortnite** on another PC so you're playing Fortnite on a computer which isn't yours, which means you cannot install third party programs/software such as Pro Swapper.
* **Why can't other people see my skin?**
If you're using the lobby swapper, other people will be able to see your skin in lobby.
If you're using an ingame swapper, the swapper is client sided which means that only you are able to see it because of the way that Fortnite processes skin data.
* **Does Pro Swapper work on PS4, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Mobile?**
The swapper is only available for Windows. (Most recommended on Windows 10/11)
* **How many items can I swap without getting kicked?**
There is no real maximum numbers of items you can swap but it's good to keep it around 1-2, some items together are more likely to kick, you can try and experiment to see what kicks and doesn't kick.
# Verifying Fortnite
A guide on how to verify Fortnite after using Pro Swapper.
Verifying will bring your Fortnite to its original state like before you used the swapper.
**Verifying Fortnite via Epic Games Launcher will not work when using Pro Swapper. It will not do anything.**
1. Open ProSwapper.Client
2. Click `Settings`
3. Click `Force Remove All Swaps`
# Unreal Engine Crash Message
When Fortnite crashes right after swapping
Fortnite crashes because of the item you **swap it with**. Try swapping your cosmetic for a different item. Arctic Adeline and Sled Ready Guff are common skins that always work.
Before swapping again it's recommend to go to **Settings** and press [**Force Remove Swaps**](/pro-swapper/verifying-fortnite)
# Swapper Not Opening
Try these troubleshooting steps if Pro Swapper doesn't seem to open.

First of all, please make sure you downloaded Pro Swapper from the [linkvertise download](https://link-center.net/86737/pro-swapper-ingame)
The filename should be `ProSwapper.Client.exe`, if Pro Swapper came in a zip file **with a password** it is fake**,** we recommend you delete it and do a virus scan on your PC using [Windows Security](https://youtu.be/ZSoaPn7moC0) or [Malwarebytes](https://www.malwarebytes.com/).

After confirming you have a real Pro Swapper downloaded try the following steps.
* Install Microsoft's [.NET 6](https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/thank-you/runtime-6.0.13-windows-x64-installer)
* Install Microsoft's [VC Redist](https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe)
* Turn off any anti viruses you have including [Windows Security](https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/turn-off-defender-antivirus-protection-in-windows-security-99e6004f-c54c-8509-773c-a4d776b77960).
* Try opening the swapper as Administrator by right clicking `ProSwapper.Client.exe` and clicking `Run as administrator`
* If you get a network error when opening Pro Swapper such as a 404, try using a [vpn](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_private_network). [Proton VPN](https://protonvpn.com/) is a good free VPN.
* Try turning off your [firewall](https://youtu.be/dlBgoVMXIWo)
# Swapping Emotes
Just a little heads up when swapping Emotes

When using emotes DO NOT put the emote in your main locker wheel, favorite it instead so you don't get kicked out of the game.

# Swaps Not Applying
This is when you convert something on Pro Swapper and it isn't applying in Fortnite
First check that you **DO NOT** have High Resolution Textures enabled. This setting can be found in Epic Games Launcher -> Fortnite -> Click the 3 dots -> Options
If that doesn't work make sure your Fortnite paks folder location is correct. This is where Fortnite is installed. By default the Fortnite paks folder is located in `C:\Program Files\Epic Games\Fortnite\FortniteGame\Content\Paks` but this may be different depending on where you downloaded Fortnite.
If this does not work you may have duplicate Pak files. This is a method other swappers use which can override your existing Fortnite game files. An easy way to fix it is to delete your `Paks` folder and [Verify Fortnite](https://youtu.be/jDfjQSbgDX0)
# Fortnite Crashing/Kicking

# Uninstalling Pro Swapper
We're sad to see you go but we hope we meet again.
Do the following steps to fully uninstall Pro Swapper.
1. [Force Remove All Swaps](/pro-swapper/verifying-fortnite) through Pro Swapper
2. Press `Windows Key + R` and in the box paste in `%localappdata%`and delete the `ProSwapper` folder.
